I've just put it back in, connected the cables and did a quick ignition and it started. I then turned it off and proceeded to tighten the nuts and sprayed some WD40 on the battery seating bracket, cleaned up the bolt for that, etc..maybe 15-20 minutes. I then tried starting it again and it won't start! The alternator just turns.
You have to remember with no keys, it should be hard to get in and do anything with the car. Even if you can physically break in the doors will remain deadlocked until unlocked with a key or remote. You would need to have a new key cut to the ignition barrel to turn the ignition on and press the button by the handbrake.
Hello! I have few problems with my Octavia TDI 2000 yr 2008. The major problem I currently looking for a solution is a problem with my remote, I have both of the keys both can start the engine (3 buttons key) one of the keys working kind of fine it open and locks the car but I have to click twice AVHreplica. So the situation with that COBRA 4800 CAN series is that the key can lock all doors from key lock and the alarm gets activated (after 30 secs), while unlocking releases only driver's door (without deactivating alarm) . At that point if open the door the siren will sound.. Only if unlocking within 30 secs from llocking (and still no
First when I connect battery in car hazard lights turned on. When I turn ignition on, only +15 relay D1 pull on. "key no found" text appears on maxidot. When i try to start "depress clutch" text appears on even I stamp the pedal down. I have connected vcds and read faultcodes.
Turn the key in the ignition. Depress clutch and the Yeti won't start. From memory, the dash just displays a red EPC light, amber engine light and the matrix says "Depress clutch". We've checked the clutch pedal, fuses, and tried both keys and nothing helps. The weird thing is after an hour or so, the car then starts up fine, as if there's FOjlJF.
