yeah being able to listen to music while showing trailer camera in realtime is what I wanted.. if I use the stupid expensive AMI video cable, and enable video in motion on my vehicle then it switches audio over to that input and I get to listen to my tires sing.. some of the video boxes ive been looking at are wired up like this and dont input audio, and work like a camera/nav input interface

I have a new 2017 Audi A4. I have noticed that CarPlay does not connect sometimes upon plugging in my iPhone 6 to the USB Cable provided by Audi as the CarPlay IPhone cable ($150). It works sometimes and sometimes it does not.
